14/12/07 - A early Christmas Present for N.I Gamers.

Northern Ireland Gaming Community!

The Northern Ireland Gaming Community is a community set up for Northern Ireland gamers. At the moment it is mainly a forum, we intend for this to be turned into the main portal for all N.I gamers to venture into!

We intend to create clans and guilds based off many games, ran by the users and staff of the forum!

The reason we created NIGC was...
Have you ever played Counter-Strike, UT2K4, WoW and looked for a fellow N.I gamer. But resulted in being unable to find them?
Thats what NIGC is here for, you can link up with them. Knowing they are only a few miles away!

We intend for this community to have:-
*Multiple gaming servers for popular games.
*Dedicated members and staff
*Updates on new releases on games.
*Information on gaming in general in Belfast.
*The community to be ran by everyone and not just staff.

As a community, if you sign up you become a member! You are then full welcome to participate in polls, votes and decisions on the community.

Information on a CSS Server

Hey all,
I have managed to gather some money, and may be able to get a css server up and running for the NIGC.
However, This would need to be run on donations.
I am willing to buy a 1 month server for CSS or TFT2 or DODS, as a test. However, I require first the donations of members of NIGC.
I shall require 1 month of server hosting in donations, before I consider buying the server.

I have came up with a reward for donating.

People who donate £2 or more shall recieve.
*Admin on the server.
For one month.

People who donate £5 or more shall recieve.
*Admin on server.
For two months.
*Ventrilo or teamspeak admin and own channel
For one month

People who donate £7 or more shall recieve
*Admin on server
For 3 Months
*Ventrilo or teamspeak admin and own channel
For 3 months

People who donate also get acess to the server forum, where they can request mods and maps for the server. Aswel as a forum user title.

Hello everyone,

I realize you are all in clans currently - the majority of you. As am I, but due to the previous 2 scrims and the ability of the Northern Ireland players, I would be interested in gathering a 5 man team for tournaments and scrims(not fun scrims) representing Northern Ireland at a high level.
If you would be interested in taking part, in representing your country in gaming please contact me. We shall then take it from there by seeing your ability using fun scrims.
If you feel you may not be at a high ability, but like the sound of this, let me know. We should by the end have high ability players able to teach you.

- This shall not be to replace your current clan, this is for representing your country. If we can get far enough to do so. -
