After a long hiatus from the server (about a month or two), now that I'm finally getting back around to playing on the server I've been noticing a trend that rather disturbs me. Now I know this server is no stranger to...readings of fanfictions that are sexually explicit or other spams of a similar nature (all of which usually take up much time, by the way). But the fact of the matter is that this has been happening a lot more often it seems like.

I absolutely hate these kinds of spams, and more often than not, many people on the server agree with me. Now I realize that they can be muted, that's always been an important point. But it's kind of difficult when you're waiting to spam and have to listen to a fanfiction reading of two characters from Adventure Time doing absolutely disgusting things. There are few other options than just muting your computer's volume entirely at that point so that there's still a chance you might actually be able to spam when it's done.

I guess what I'm saying is this: These spams are often not enjoyed, disliked, or even cause people to just up and leave the server regardless of if it can be muted or not. They make things more difficult in general, from what I can see. So why do we allow this in the first place? I'd just like some sort of explanation or something along those lines because I simply don't get it.

(On a side note, if there are any people around here that share this sentiment, I would not be one to ignore suggestions on if there is any way to limit this behavior, but we would obviously need to take that up with the mods and Aliento himself.)
