Sir Harry of Norfolk injured

The gravest of new has reached Winchester my good men. The great knight Sir Harry of Norfolk (aka The winters chill) has been gravley injured in a jousting tournement in Metz! If you have not heard of Sir Harry he is a long standing friend and reigning champion of Knightly games in Britain and France for the past 4 years. Aparently in his 2nd round he took a lance to the head and fragments of the shattered wood were splinted in his eyes. From what we have heard tell he cannot see and his Tournement going is over. This is a shame and a reminder that we should all be thankful for what we have. May god be with him.

For a long time there has been tention between the french and english. But I ask.. What for? Are we so different from one another? Nay we are not. We are both good christains. We are both brave and noble warriors. Even our ruling classes are intermingled and both of the same family. With this in mind I went to our brothers across the channel and spoke with them. I met with the duke of Anjou, duchess of brittany, and Duke of Orleans. All three of which agreed to send us aid. They will lead there army's across the channle and into the port of chatham where we shall meet them. Togeather we shall bring peace to England, and bring about the reign of the true king!
