We have an inkling that a small handful of Mac gamers who enjoy multiplayer on Steam also have some games from the Mac App Store.

So we're excited to tell you happy few that hunting down friends and foes for Mac App Store online multiplayer just got a lot easier.

The Mac App Store multiplayer community for games like Company of Heroes 2 and Medieval II: Total War is small and scattered — it’s about time it was unified!

To kick things off, a Company of Heroes 2 battle will commence on Wednesday the 17th of February from 6PM to 8PM GMT. There will be devs, there will be Twitch, and — most importantly — there will be Mac App Cats.
