Funcom Tournament Rules
These rules and all the points included in them imply that each participant of the tournaments (before registering for any event), which are held on the Funcom project and the servers of the same name, has read and agreed to them. The final word remains with the tournament administrators. If something is not explicitly prohibited by the rules, it does not mean that it is allowed. It is expected that players will be guided by common sense, not cheat and will be polite to their opponents. These rules may change and will be supplemented. Not knowing the rules does not exempt you from possible consequences and sanctions if you violate these rules.
Registration on tournament (meaning all kinds of FFG events, SFG which are officially announced in the Funcom group, hereinafter referred to as a tournament or equivalent event).
1. Any participant or team registering for the tournament accepts these rules by default
2. All participants are obliged to comply with these rules and adhere to the rules of the tournament.
3. Registration of players takes place in the official Funcom group, on the declared discussion or announcement.
4. All players are required to provide their permanent steam accounts to register on event, or the most frequently used one. Alternative accounts are prohibited and will be banned upon detection, and the player will be excluded from the tournament. The minimum allowed size of a team to participate in the Tournament is four (4) participants; maximum — six (6) members (except in cases of specialized tournaments involving teams of not 4 participants — 2x2, 1x1 tournaments and others). A team cannot register for the tournament if it has less than four participants. Squads are freezed, this mean that the new members cannot be added to the team; the exception is when the team size falls below the minimum required number of 4 people. In this case, you can add one new member with the approval of the administrator. Independent replacements are not allowed. The contact information of each team should be available to other teams and administrators.
5. Participants are required to indicate their permanent nicknames, or the nickname's under they are known in the Left 4 Dead 2 community in the registration form. Each player must have his team tag in his name throughout the match.
6. The registration form is filled out by the team captain and indicates all the necessary data: links and nicknames of the players.
7. Teams are required to have two spare players. The registration form should be separated by the line "spare players" for the main and spare players.
8. If the team has previously participated in any tournaments, then specify in which and the date of participation in these tournaments.
9. When team deciding to register on tournament / event, the player accepts responsibility and agrees to come on the all events, participate in all games, connect to the server without delay, at a predetermined time, patiently wait for the start of the game and fulfill all the requirements of the organizers.
10. Team captains are obliged to notify in advance (one day in advance) about the replacement of a player, in case of replacement.

19. The schedule is published in the steam Funcom group in the day of registration on tournament of the last team (8 or 16, maybe more, the information will be in the appropriate topic), the dates and times of the tournament games are announced. All games will be held at a strictly scheduled time and date.

21. The transfer of games is possible only on the same day, no more than two hours from the appointed time. And only once per tournament. - If a player disconnects (the client crashes, the lights are turned off, reconnect to fix the game client's bug), a pause is automatically set or a command is sent to the chat and the match is suspended.
- The match will resume when all the players are ready. If a player is disconnected or crashes, players need to pause the game, with the command!pause;
- The game cannot continue until the disconnected player is ready to join the server. This situation cannot be considered a reason to replay the round, even if the discount resulted in the death of a survivor, suicide of a tank or something similar.
- After the pause ends, the match should continue as usual. There will be exceptions to this rule.
- If a game error leads to the unexpected death of a survivor, the round must be replayed if the affected team deems it necessary. If death or loss of performance is caused by a player's mistake (examples: jumping before falling; moving and jumping in the No Mercy 4 elevator during the ascent), the round will not be replayed.
- Excessive pause during the match is not allowed (10 or more). The reason for the pause must be explained to the opposing team as soon as possible.
- If a player cannot continue the game for any reason, it is necessary to make a substitution within 10 minutes, otherwise the team that does not have a player will be considered the loser due to inability to continue the match in full.
