Left 4 Dead Survival Community

Hello everybody

We are a bunch of friends who dont want to see L4D1 lose its popularity and therefore we have started a new community. Mostly we are focusing on the survival mode. We are keeping a record of highest survival times made in L4D1 and 2. The website also contains Videos, Guides, Downloads, Tactics, Hall of Fame, Forum, List of game servers etc etc.
We would really appreciate your contribution to the community in the form of your membership, or different kinds of activities on the website. Please help us grow!

About us

We try to unite all the players in one big community in association with other bigger survival groups:

This group works for community benefits and for not letting survival die =)
At first we were a L4D1 community, now we support the L4D2 world too :)

Servers

You can use our community EU servers or check site[l4d-survival.com] for other (also NA) servers. These servers in general are more stable and work more fluently than standard official servers.

Retirement of the website

Dear Survivalists,

The l4d-survival.com website will no longer be available starting September 6, 2024.

I've decided to shut down the website, for two reasons:

the data it contains is severely obsolete
the maintenance required to keep it online has reached a critical difficulty that is simply no longer justified.

The obsolescence issue refers to the WRs, which have last been updated many years ago, but also to the very low number of visits that the website receives these days.

The maintenance issue is twofold. First, the software needed to run the website could not be updated; I've posted an announcement about that years ago. Second, the modern Web has some standards that cannot be retroffited (due to not being able to update the software).

I'm turning this page lighthearted after running the website for several years. I'd like to thank the previous owners and creators of the website for their work.

May Left 4 Dead survival mode endure!

Hi,

This is to announce a maintenance operation on the L4D Community servers on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 22:00 CEST (Paris/Berlin).

It will take an undetermined amount of time, possibly spilling into the following day(s).

It's the first time that such a maintenance operation occurs since 2016. This is to catch up with recent server updates, which makes it necessary to update all software: Metamod, SourceMod and the plugins.

Please, be patient! It may take some time!
