Just Cause 2

Here is an info stop for Just Cause 2 Fans. I’d like to go over a few quick (for some: obvious) things to help improve your game play “pro-ness”.


1. Rico doesn’t use cover. He’s a stunt man not a camper. To make sure you don’t lose your health so fast, use your grapple. To avoid getting killed simply move around. Grappling to the top of a building to regain health is very useful. Basically it’s harder for an enemy to shoot you if you are moving fast.
2. Picking up ammo is fundamental to survival. The worst thing to happen is: when you’re in the middle of a huge wilderness battle you run out of ammunition. No vehicles to jack, no ammo pick-ups and no mountains to use to your advantage.
3. Use the realism of the game. Gunfire to the face rather than to the foot defiantly does more damage. Keep that arm held high and bring out the sniper in you, fellow Rico’s!
4. Be assorted and use all of the weapons generously placed around the island of Panau. Don’t stick with your fully upgraded starter pistol. Be sure to use different weapons for different occasions. When fighting an enemy tank don’t use a one handed pistol (like the panau police). Use a granade launcher. When fighting planes don’t use a granade launcher. Use a machinegun.
5. Air is better than land. Using your grapple hook and parachute combination, helicopters and planes are far greater than using a crappy old station wagon. For one you don’t have to use the roads and there are no speed irritations. Plus most of the planes are way faster than normal cars.
6. If you find yourself dangerously plummeting towards the ground to find certain death, simply grapple straight down when allowed. Actually quiet humorous that Rico begins to plummet even faster but when committing contact with earth he loses no health. You could also just parachute.
7. When going for kills look for accuracy not quantity. What I mean by that is not to waste a whole clip of ammo on an official’s crotch. Use a quarter and go for the head. This saves money time and health.
