If I join this group, will I be restricted to friendly invasions only?
Of course not, what you do when you aren't being friendly is none of our business.

Do I have to go only as a mad phantom?
No, you can go as any covenant you want, whether it is purple or red, farron or faithful, or good old fashioned Sun.
