A "new" Jagged Alliance with the beloved "old" turn-based game mode! What could be better?!

SHORT GAME DESCRIPTION:

Jagged Alliance: Flashback is our vision of returning a once critically acclaimed franchise back to its roots, it's not a reboot, it's a reset!

Our main goal is to bring back the tactical turn-based action that the original Jagged Alliance games are known for - the game was a thinking man's game, a thinking man with lots of guns!

The games were unique in their blend of tactical turn-based action, controlling and maintaining squads of mercenaries, off and on the battlefield. As a player the decisions you made had a direct impact on how you played the game. Additionally, over-the-top personalities, memorable characters and role-playing elements made the games difficult to put away once you were hooked.

GROUP DESCRIPTION:

This fan-made Steam group should be the goal to reach fans of this upcoming project all over the world. We want a new Jagged Alliance game with the really famous turn-based gamemode and we will get it if we support it on kickstarter with our money.

It's not much known about a possible Steam release in future if funded successfully on kickstarter. It's just known that Full Control - the devs of this project - has the wish to get it on Steam - and GOG.com.

Everyone is allowed to join our group, to chat and represent this group on other sites. Me and my co-parters will give our best to support this game in any kind! :)

Hello mercs on Steam!

Since last night the Steam Early Access version of Jagged Alliance: Flashback is on Steam for a price of 39,99€/$44,99.

And if you already own of these games on Steam:

you will get an additional discount of 15%!

The Steam Early Access features are the following:

Includes the first sectors to explore and conquer, packed with enemies and quests
The core combat system makes use of cover, true line of sight calculations and different stances to provide a deep tactical experience for the player
Editor: build your own sectors and campaigns, mod the game and share through Steam Workshop right from the start! We take great care to make the game as moddable as possible, and are looking forward to all the cool things you and the community can come up with!

Full language support in English (Interface, Full Aufio & Subtitles)(*)
It's Singleplayer only, it has a Level Editor and Steam Workshop

(*) Unfortunatelly I don't have any info about more languages that could be implemented later or after the full release.

Backers & Steam

Unfortunatelly also here I don't have any info when kickstarter backers (also the PayPal ones like me) will get a Steam copy. But I am sure that we will be contacted via email or maybe here as soon as possible when we will get our Steam access. This game is just on Steam!

Hi all.
Just bought Flashback - i played the very old JA2 in ..puh... 1998(?)

I made some maps/mods before and I am interested in modding JA.
Can someone help me to get the modding program?
There is a link in the description I found on steam, but it is allreeady offline.

Maybe someone is interested to work on an addon for the game?
Plz be so kind and contact me for an answer?!
