Any chance of getting 5 or so people for Mann vs Machine at some point?

I've added Jim Shannon to the group and sent an invite out to Dean Gaffney. He's not GamesDev, he's Software dev but he's an awesome guy and the current CompSoc admin. =)

While we await the next batch of L4D DLC (allegedly out this month), people have been busy working with the SDK creating some real high quality maps (some not so high quality maps too).

The cream floats to the top though, so this post will be our repository for good maps. Add a comment with what map you think is good, so all of us know about it!

New Special called the Jockey, jumps on your head and tries to control you. The only way to stop him is to move like crazy.

There's a Desert Eagle which takes out the infected with a single shot to the head, apparently you can unlock laser-sights for it.

The new campaign is a carnival named "Dark Carnival", which speaks for itself.

Best part is that there are guitar and katana melee weapons! I've seen the guitar first hand but I've only read about the katana. (Here's to hoping it's true)

Valve posted a release saying they're releasing a new campaign that will bridge the gap between No Mercy & Death Toll.

It will support all game modes and be out in September.

I'm hoping they will bridge all campaigns with more DLC and fill in the gaps.
