After laying siege to the capital city a white flag has been seen flying in the place of the traditional state flag and the government surrendered the state to the confederacy adding one more state.

The yankees made another attempt to dislouge the efforts of the Army of Trans-Mississippi in a major battle but failed to halt the confederate advance.
During the battle both sides fanned out to it's max and marched towards each other. On the far left there were no yankees so I ordered two regiments to conduct a flank attack in an attempt to disrupt their attack. I had previously ordered everyone to fix bayonets. Little did i realize that the yankees tried to break the center but were routed.
On my far right a yankee tried to go for the center but was routed as well. I then had both flanks try to encircle the enemy but they managed to escape the trap.

To the Leader of the Rebels,

Multiple reports have indicated that Federal forces are moving to conduct a campaign to move against your vulnerable territory. For the good of your people, I urge that you reconsider your secession from the Confederacy. We can discuss the issue like civilized individuals once the threat is removed from our territories.
