ACERCA DE Get Half-Life Alpha/Beta Builds released to the Public.

Since October 2003, There has Been interest in Alpha/Beta Content in many of Valve's Titles (This being mainly regarding Half-Life 2, But Other Valve titles such as Team Fortress 2 or CS:GO have had cut communities established for them as well) but Half-Life 1's Cut Content wasn't widely picked up until the Start of 2013.

In December 2012, A Photo of a Half-Life Alpha Build dated December 16 1997 was posted by Geoff Keighley on Instagram. Not Long after An Earlier Half-Life Build Numbered 0.52 (Dated: 9th September 1997) Was uploaded over on Reddit which showed the game prior to it's redevelopment in October 1997.

Later in 2015, Former Sierra Employee Marc Tardiff had posted a Photo of another Half-Life Alpha Build which was dated 10/25/1997 and in Recent years, Journalist Geoff Keighley has Shown other Half-Life Build discs including another Copy of the 10/25/1997 Build, An E3 Build (Which may be the E3 1998 Build) and also has another Day One Build and the Gold Master used for the Game's Original Release in November 1998. When Fans Reached out to Keighley to express their Interest in seeing them, Keighley often has refused to release these builds insisting Valve would have to decide weather or Not to Release Such Builds, This is where Us Half-Life Fans Come in.

The Goal: Showing Valve our Interest in seeing Half-Life 1's Alpha/Beta Builds and Development Files to the Public.

If you would like to volunteer to Help Out or participate In this Effort, it is important you bare the following points in mind.

1) Please Refrain from Bombarding Valve or Geoff Keighley about This Subject.
Why? Because flooding Valve's emails may cause them to decline releasing Such Builds or Files in the Future, At this Time Flooding Valve (Or Geoff Keighley who has the aforementioned Half-Life Alpha Builds) with Emails is not the intention of this effort. This Effort intends to make Valve see the Value and Interest to consider open-sourcing many of their HL1 Development Files and Alpha/Beta Builds for Research or Modding Use.

2) The Half-Life 2 Leak.
It's fairly known that the Half-Life 2 Leak from October 2003 is a Large factor as to why Valve is opposed to Releasing Cut Content, (They cited their reason for not letting Missing Information be released on Steam along the Lines of "Our issue is that this material has been illegally obtained and distributed without our approval") However when asked about Releasing cut content other occasions, Gabe Newell said in 2017 that "If our Customers think something is interesting and any fan is willing to spend that much time organzing/discovering information around our games, That's a Pretty strong signal that they're trying to tell us this is actually really valuable" which brings us back to Point No.1.

So Anyways, Let's Make Valve see our Interest in seeing the rest of Half-Life 1's Development Builds and assets (Specifically the ones that are not available in the SDK) be Released to the Public.
