I don't do announcements very often (should I make more/better use of this group?), but this is another time where I think it's particularly worthwhile!

I started streaming earlier this year and I've been really enjoying it so far! That's why I've decided to celebrate my 30th birthday with a special 24 hour stream! It's currently planned to start on December 11th at 12:00 GMT! I've not scheduled anything too specific just yet, but there'll be plenty of co-op/multiplayer/group games (including some Jackbox), giveaways, and fun :P

I've been on a little break with giveaways too. Hey all!

My final year of uni has just started, and I'm pretty excited about the project I've proposed and will be putting a lot of work into. It means I have less time to play and review, but I won't let that stop me! It may be the perfect opportunity to play through some of the smaller games in my backlog at least!

Here's the 2 latest reviews anyway. Castle of Illusion from last week, and Thief this week!

Castle of Illusion is a remake or "reimagining" of the Sega classic, and I'd say they've done a pretty great job! It's short, simple, casual, and reminded me a a simpler time. At least it did, once I got past the crashing issue by changing which graphics card it was booting with. You can find the full review at Gawain Games[gawain-games.com].

Thief was a pretty enjoyable and intense experience for the most part. I really enjoyed the story and most of the gameplay elements, but there were some very annoying and needless elements included too. You can find the full review at Gawain Games[gawain-games.com].

I have two reviews for you this week! One being a very well known and popular game, from a huge franchise, while the other is a much lesser known game and series.

Borderlands 3 likely needs no introduction, but if I exclude being dragged around hunting Goliaths in Borderlands 2 for a couple of hours, this was actually my first Borderlands game. I wasn't disappointed either! I had many hours of fun, and could easily have many more! You can find the full review at Gawain Games[gawain-games.com].

Nephise Begins is short walking simulator with minimal story. The pleasant environment, music, and narration do wonders at creating a calm and relaxing experience, but I wouldn't recommend it for much more than a peaceful half an hour or so.
