Get popular Lets Player to promote it.

Well, for one thing I think that a lot of the players that WOULD vote for the game but they aren't permitted to do so because they (myself included) haven't bought anything or completed a transaction as is required (at least that's what it says every time i try to vote up)

Yes. But you are correct, many of the current players on Kongregate don't have Steam accounts and may be hesitant to buy a game just to vote up FreeFall Tournament that they are already playing for free. They'd sooner buy a random weapon on Kong.

Post about the game on popular game hubs? Like Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Global Offensive, popular games like that. Post a trailer at the same time.

Thanks for the suggestion. Don't you think they'd be pissed if we do it? I think some player would have to do it instead. Our trailer is on YouTube. Thanks to Valve, the link is now on our Greenlight page.

If players get mad, then I am not worried. What can they do to me? If Steam gets mad, then I will stop. I will volunteer to do it if you want. What we are trying to do is get the word out about the game and get people interested. So we need to find a good trailer and post it where people can see it.

I figured it out. I am posting it now on Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike Global Offensive. I will post it on more over time and will post on this discussion as to which ones I post on. Wish me luck ^_^
