Why Crouch? Why tactical?

CoD tries to do a combat atmosphere close to real.
Unfortunaly the game physics fail providing the realistic player movements and weapon skills. The result is a run-and-gun atmosphere where players look like chickens without heads and have guns with super powers.
|DF| rules are the intent to bring the game as much as possible to a realistic battle scenario.

Hi DF community,

I'm" back in town" and
we are overworking the status of admins and member and will have soon a new Rcon password.
All admin and member, please read the actual rules and visit the homepage more often.

Dear member, we are looking for new admins with Rcon rights to maintain the server like the idea of DF.

Dear guest players, we are looking for member and admins to make our community grow and participate giving life to our servers.

It was a difficult time for me changing job and moving from one continent to an other. Back in Germany now. Computer working, headset working and some time to play :)

The idea of making DF was to have a tactical crouch server with member and admins being polite and respectful to everybody. We don't need be best friend of everybody in game. Many individuals playing. Many opinions, many cultures and nationalities. BUT we should be able to respect and accept others.
I have the impression that this got lost a little in the last time.
We need players that want help to bring DF back to the idea we startet with.
I will check every behavior from existing members and admins, and who is abusing his rights will loose them.
I stand up here and promise that it will be fun and successful being part of DF.
I hope plenty of you want help me doing this.
