Our community and our builds have grown so much that many of us want to have more than just screenshots! However, folks differ in how sensitive they may be about having their own builds, their chat, or their avatars uploaded to YouTube or other video sites. Here are Happytown's ground rules for recording in our world.

Our primary concern for all recordings is consent and credit.

1. Credit Happytown as the host world.
   
2. Announce the start and end of recording in chat, even if no one is currently on.
   
3. Use the /ignoreall command during recording.
   
4. Community builds and Hub are considered public and permission is not required to record at those locations.
   – As a courtesy, refrain from putting others' unfinished builds in the foreground.
   
5. Do not record any private builds without the express permission of the builder.
   
6. Give credit for any builds that appear in your video. If you do not know and cannot find out who is responsible for a particular build that appears in the foreground of your recording, note that it is not your own work.

We are not currently a "YouTube world" and do not require you to list other content creators in your descriptions. As a courtesy, you may wish to include fellow Happytown citizens who also create videos within Happytown if their builds are featured in your video.

1. Community builds and Hub are considered public, and by participating in builds at such locations, you agree to allow your builds to be recorded.
   
2. "Sign" your work in a prominent location so that others who record your builds can readily credit you.
