Not everyone that gets hacked is at fault. I don't download stuff I shouldn't or visit account-info-stealing sites, yet I received 84 email notifications today informing me that vxjcvyeg6699 had sold everything in my inventory.
How did they access my account, and why didn't I receive a login code by email like every other time I've logged in?
And it's not "hacked" but hijacked. If people were getting "hacked" high tier users would be hit.
@zemisong
AND @Sosmoove, then maybe it isn't the users fault this time? @blueberrypoptart
I dont know too much about security, nor do I claim too, however this seems quite excessive for a dodgy website to attack 3 people in the same day. Surely if the website was that popular we would have thousands of affected accounts everyday and steam would technically be liable as they should've upgraded security to counter it.
