Hello Comrades!
I'd like to officially annouce that the BearRP will be getting a server hosted by the people I've been working with for the past year now! I've got internal support for the developement and hosting of the server!
This also means alot of the old models will be getting a rework as well, more clothing for civilians, and so on!

As soon as the server is up and being tested, I will post the IP and server collection for everyone to hop on and try out what I've been trying to achieve for these past 2 years!
Its unsure as to when the server's official complete state will be available, as I've still got content to create. Custom weapons will be a side priority or scraped to save time and resources for completing a finished product.

I'll be updating constantly as the server updates heres, There might be a steam group switch but I'm doubtful of this, so this steam group will be my hub for information until I get a website as well, if things go smoothly.

Anyways, I'd like to thank anyone who has stayed tune for this long and its time to finally give back!

Hello Comrades!
Its been quite sometime since I've done an annoucement regarding this project, and future playermodels. I assure you that I have not left or have I quit working on this project, nor will it ever be my intention to quit.
I have plans on bringing everything back up once more, releasing more of my content once again and begin work on revising the now old models and making some new!

But aside from all of that, On the 20th of this month, will mark the 2nd year of my most successful workshop addon ever and my first successful playermodel I've ever released. This playermodel, as well as my other playermodels have been a blast working with, but best of all the community has been so kind and appreicative of the content I've brought to them. And to mark this 2nd year, I will be continuing the hard work, to finally release V1.0 of my original Playermodel, giving players the access to face posing. As well as doing a Remaster of the original model, However I don't want to make promises on that one.

I've done alot of procrastation these past 2 years, but I want to really change that for this day as its very special to me. It is the defining character that I've molded as my own, and despite there being alot of Comrade Bears out there on steam, I'm proud to be the one that has pushed the character further than its ever been before!

Now back to this project, It will be quite some time before this becomes a thing, but hopefully it will be sooner. With the WW2RP server I work with, We've officially launched our first PoliceRP, and alot of everyone has been open to the idea of opening a BearRP, Atleast, some have expressed the interest. Which might mean I'll be able to have a group to host my concept and content for free for everyone to join and enjoy.

Anyways, Thats all I got for now for you guys, I would like to extend a very warm thanks to everyone who has stayed for as long as they have, and have continued to believe in the project. It means alot to me that there is still 200+ members within this group even for all of the inactivity, though I'm sure alot of people didn't bother with leaving, But I am still thankful and I appreciate all of the support given!

Deepest apologies for not having many annoucements coming out. I've been working on various projects(Yet again.. >_>) and have not been all too focused here.

I've already shown some progress on the face flexes for my Personal playermodel, and I've given that a bit of a rest. and have returned to animating Sweps once more, My recent project I've focused on is very similar to many I've done before, From BF3DM, to Firearms of War, and now to Battlefield Swep Pack(I know, Generic. plz help.)

Now for those of you who do not know what either one of these are, Heres a quick explaination. If you dont need to know or already know about this stuff, Skip both the BF3DM and FoW Stuff.

BF3DM or Battlfield 3 Deathmatch was a massive gamemode I along with some others had worked on which was to accomplish bringing over custom content using BF3 assets to recreate BF3 in Garry's Mod in the form of a Deathmatch gamemode.
There are samples of the work I have done for the gamemode, and the gamemode's official steam group is still around. Due to some inactivity issues that I indeed claim responsibility for, the gamemode did not stay around for very long, It had never finished and was never enjoyed by the public.

FoW or Firearms of War was a Swep pack I had been working on for the sake of boredom. The goal was to animate many weapons from different era's, such as WW2, Vietnam, Modern day, Possibly even further back as far as WW1 if the models were available. However, After a while I had failed to roll out a new update and keep it active with more and more work. So in the end, I canceled any further work and deleted it from the workshop. There is still my MKB42 and MP40 on the workshop by Dzembi on the FAS 2.0 base rather then the GDCW base I had used originally, which was breaking down quite a bit.

Well, Now that is out of the way. Its time I discuss about this Battlefield Swep pack. Basicly, Its just a swep pack..
Now the big difference between the other swep pack is the custom animations, Some weapons probably impossible to find in the steam workshop, and an extensive amount of hands you could choose from, something like rigging for the Killing Floor 2 Sweps.

Other than all of that junk, Work on this will resume but I wont be going immeditially back into this right now. Any form a release date is hard to estimate, Somedays I just get into the work for this, and somedays or even weeks just avoid this project for sometime.

I'm not trying to kill this thing then what I already have, I just hope you guys understand this very silly situation I constantly keep putting my self into. But I the content Im making weither it be for this or other stuff, I try to make sure its all good content everyone can enjoy. Maybe thats a plus for the wait time if this even gets released, and with the work I've done, I'm really hoping for it!

Hello comrades!

I know I haven't brought out all too many fixes for some needed models, but I assure everyone that they will all get fixed and ready for the RP.

So, Today I had felt quite nostalgic and checked the workshop statistics on my personal playermodel and according the the information I was given. It looks like the model is still being subscribed and enjoyed! It doesn't come as a complete surprise, but I didn't think the models popularity would have lasted this long, It isnt much, 30 maybe 20 new subscribers, and viewers but to me it still means that there are lots of people who are enjoying this content!

Thus, I have relaunched my faceposing project and complete the model once and for all!
I present the official annoucement of Version 4 of my rig which will mark version 1.0 on the models release. However, I've been thinking of making it a seperate addon, as I've run into some complications on the way which will be limiting the other bear types/skins to seperate models. That means, there will be about 5 different playermodels total. Which, I dont know if alot of people will like, It'll be something that will be later explored, and a question I've asked my self a few times is; "What will this new model/version mean for the other models? police bear, gopnik bear, etc. etc." and I go back and forth, I could just simply release them seperately, or I can update them with no legacy versions.
So, I've got quite a bit of thinking to do. but I know 100% I want faceposing for my personal playermodel, it was something I originally had in mind at the beginning, but due to the original .VTA file not being compatible with my model, becuase I had heavily edited the model, and it was suppose to be for a Heavy Reskin for TF2, so it never worked.

But, its 2016 now, and I've learned so much from last year and of this year. That I feel more then capable of producing the Face posing features this model deserves!(or atleast I believe it deserves.) For now its only a matter of time!

Anyways, Here is some early screenshots of the face posing features, No mouth movement yet, but I've got eyelids working well!

The group continues to grow thanks to many of my friends and supporters for helping out.
In this announcement, I wanted to discuss a question that has popped into my head a few times around; Should I redo the Civilian bears?
Now, Recently I've successfully redone the Gopniks(Gangsters in the RP) and Police. But now should more be done to some of the older models as well? I wanted to try and spark some opinions on this as I want to make sure I'm not spending too much time on modeling so that I am fixing and uploading.

Me personally, I think it could be a very benefical investment. Since I've been using alot of DayZ Standalones Assets, Theres quite a bit I can do or make I should say. This includes the various clothes that fit the everyday citizen in a city or town. Normal, Casual clothing. Perfect for civilians. The current civilian models I have only wear jackets and such, only a few skins over basicly 3 bodygroups. If I decide to use the DayZ SA Assets, I can add even more variety in the models. Depending on how much I will use will determine the amount of bear models I'll have.

Other than that. I've been working on the recently uploaded Soviet Military Models and fixing them up. I can proudly say that there will be a pretty decent update giving the models better rigging, no more really bad weights and such. as well as a new custom made Playermodel animation that will be played when you select the playermodel in the playermodel selection window. Its quite exciting on my end as I gave it my all on the animation!
