How much time do you play payday per week?: Around 20-25 hours.

Why do you want to help test our sounds?: Because I think the regular sounds for most everything in Payday has this weird clunky feeling to it, like all you did to make it was hit a rock against another rock to make a firing sound. I like Bodhi's Sound Repair because the attention to each type of gun having a good appropriate sound and not just *donk donk donk* is attractive to me, even if it is just a sound mod. Also each gun feels more powerful and not just a peashooter now against the cops.

What knowledge of firearms do you have?: I know as much as the next airsoft player, as far as physical knowledge of firearms. As for sound, I've heard (with earmuffs) firing of rifles and pistols of different barrel lengths, as well as the cracks of shots emitted by gas-powered airsoft guns. As I am in Canada I don't own any actual firearms so I can't reproduce these sounds, they're only by memory.

What knowledge of audio do you have?: I make music so I know how to create an atmosphere, I know how to use Audacity, FL Studio and GoldWave. I know a bit about audio file types (wav and its compression), I know about streaming quality and its relation to Hz.

Do you have any special skills?: I'm looking to major in the Visual Arts/Computer Science as well as minor in music when I get into a university; I can handle replacing and editing files in the asset bundles. I know how to pack the edits into a pdmod and if it's needed I can create a script for playing x sound at y time or whatever is needed.

Suppose one day while playing, you encounter a sound bug. For example, there's a silent sound playing in place of a loud gunshot on a particular gun. Pretend you're making your report to us and type out what you'd tell us, be as detailed as you intend to be your in future bug reports.

-------

Bug: There's currently a bug involving the fire sound on the CAR-4 assault rifle. When you have it unsuppressed it fires the suppressed sound instead of the loud sound. Putting a suppressor on it still plays the suppressed sound so the sounds were not mixed up. It's not specific to any muzzle brake. Does not occur with AMCAR, Para or AMR-16.

Type of bug: Loud/silent sound

Sound file: soundbanks/weapon_m4.bnk

Unique case: Yes
