Happens all the time to me. Just an issue on the network side of things with barter I would guess, rather than anything specifically to do with you.

If you have any cleaner software you can try a bit of tidying for cookies etc, which sometimes helps. Having said that: on occasion steam / barter etc get very sluggish for whatever reason, or refuse to load, and there's not a lot you can do about it.

thanks, will try this. Also, I freaked out as I thought I got some kind of ban or blacklisted or something. My last trade was 3 months ago and I was really confused what could have happened. I just tried accessing the site through a VPN and it works, thankfully no ban or dispute.

sometimes / periodically encountered a similar problem (when I simply updated the site page several times in a row) as a result, I just waited for a while (from several hours to maybe a day or so) and the site started working again without any vpn ...

You could get super-duper-paranoid about these things....

Maybe you denied another user getting a trade they wanted, and this user is a genius programmer who hacked your IP. Not being able to log into barter is them getting their revenge...*dun! dun! dun!*

Or, y'know, barter needs a bit of spring cleaning, or done diddly gone *fudged* something up, or everyone is trying to log in because a new bundle released and there's a ravenous feeding frenzy happening.

You see that with HB on the Choice release day, particularly if its a very sexy bundle. The sheer amount of people trying to log in at 6pm causes it to slow to a crawl.
