We are a group of crazy-nutty-fun people that love to play ARK and are looking for a few others to share our dedicated lovely world and our passion for ARK: Survival Evolved Primitive Mode, meaning no advanced/future items...i.e. Metal Walls, Guns, energy shields, etc. The ARK Devs have stated they will be adding in more primitive type melee weapons and siege warfare weapons in the near future. Catapults! Can’t wait! If you prefer the more "Medieval with Dino" feel then come join us. Game server will be hosting by Blue Fang Solutions 24/7.

Why did we decide to host a server and why should you join?

Server set to primitive mode. We really like the primitive mode! We want to hunt with spears and eat meat cooked over an open fire!

Latency, the official servers have higher latency and it becomes hard to play when everything is jumping around and lagging. We are hosting the server in the Central US.

Community, We want to build a community that works. And we do not want to over-moderate the server. We would like to have the server feel just like an official server only with admin support and some slight tweaks. We would like to prevent overly toxic play styles but do not want to prevent robust PVP.

Land Rush! The server was opened on 8/7/15. This will be a pristine new island for everyone to join and conquer new lands! Join, play and, grow at the start of a new server!

No Admin Abuse, we have played on unofficial servers and have run in to admins that abuse their powers. We will be taking a light touch to admins. There won't be very many with access to the admin commands at 3 or less. The other admins role will be to report and document problems and troublemakers. The server admins will then take appropriate actions.

No outlandish settings. There are only minor tweaks to the server ini settings.

No begging for donations. At some point we may run a donation drive. But we will not monetize or beg for donations. Our group has jobs and we can afford to run a server. It won't disappear because we can't raise money.


Server Settings:

50% faster Dino Taming speed! Because eggs are not really an efficient solution. IF/When the eggs are “fixed” taming times will be reevaluated.

Stone is harvested at +75%.

Server Difficulty 4.0

Hydration slightly adjusted to use water slower. (Hunger is Not changed)

Night is slightly shorter.

Days are slightly longer.

Cave blocking will be deterred with 8x damage to all structures, built near all caves.

No Character/Item/Dino uploads. (This is super exploitable on official servers, and broken, so its off)

Wild Dinos are tougher. Improved damage and resistance to increase challenge. This makes Wild Dinos, tougher ,longer in the level up cycle.

Resources respawn closer to structures.

Global Spoil Timer slightly increased. Same for Bodies/Bags.

Argentavius and Pteranodon tamed resistance increased slightly. (They take less damage. Tweaking is still in progress. Trying to not undo the balance. But devs have said they are going to change it too because they were nerfed to much. I am just getting a head start.)


Not Allowed

• No excessive griefing. (For example: Tranqing someone and holding them hostage for 10 hours while playing Justin Bieber songs to them. Unless they deserve it!)
  
• No repeated killing of a player(s) nor their base(s). Own them then move on! (War Exception)
  
• No racism, no Sexism, and absolutely no TOXIC players. No verbal harassment allowed. Role-playing is encouraged, but keep to the aforementioned. PvP Trash talk is OK but be aware that there is a line.
  
• No excessive Offline raiding.
  
• No total base destruction. (War Exception. Unless they surrender first.)
  
• No blocking in someone's base with foundations.

Allowed

• Raiding. Preferably when the other side is online so you can actually PvP. You can brake in and steal items. But no excessive dumping of items just to troll them.
  
• KOS. If you think it's a good idea to go around and kill everyone you see then I guess you can try it, just don't complain when people tranq you and put you in jail for 10 hours and make you listen to Justin Bieber or Yanni’s greatest hits….
  
• Smack Talk. “You feelin lucky, PUNK!? WELL….DO YA!?!?”
  
• PvP solutions to problems. If you have a problem with another player try to hash it out with PvP or some other in game way. There is nothing wrong with a little rivalry between Arksters and/or Tribe Members.
  
• War. Declarations of war are Tribe vs Tribe. During war rules are more lax but not completely gone. When one side surrenders the war ends, decide terms, and regular play continues. Also, make it a good reason to go to war other than to grief or troll.

Banning
Bans won't take place without being talked to first to get both sides of the story. Bans will be voted on by 3 Admins. Majority rules. In extreme cases a temporary ban will be used until a vote can take place. Don’t make us do this we rather play the game.
