Recreating the Official Zeus Experience

The reason I first started this group was to make Public Zeus better. I didn’t like the structure of any unit I came across, but I didn’t have the technical knowledge or money to create my own server.

I found the public Zeus servers and I made it work; with all of you, we made it work. Then one day, RichGuy showed me how to put a Gau-8 on a quad bike, and there was no stopping me. Between Jay, Daxx, and Moop, public Zeus had never been so wild and exciting.

After the debug console was removed, I didn’t think I would ever play the game again, honestly. Then Tallman said he’d made a server; many have tried, so my hopes were not high. However, this time was different. He made it—save the ability to use client-side mods—vanilla. Finally, Public Zeus games can happen, again. Anyone can join, vote an admin, play the way they want, use the console, use Ares (Achilles), Enhanced Movement, the debug console, and all the necessary tools to make a good game. I encourage all of you to use the server whenever you want for anything you want. This project was always meant to be something accessible to everyone, and without any commitment.

It will be good to play with all of you, once again.
