We are an invite-only group of social players who are situated in Whyalla, South Australia. We emphasize good sportsmanship, and expect little in the way of trash-talk.

-> Any level of gamer is welcome; casual players to lifers.
-> Any play style is welcome; Single-player, Multi-player, Competitive, Co-op, MMO.
-> Any Member can create Events, such as organising MP or Co-op games.

Got a game you want to play, but are having trouble getting to grips with its complexities? Need help with tactics, interface/HUD setup, interpreting game mechanics, character creation/development or task completion, etc? Then ask your buddies here and see if they can offer help.

What ever you want to play, how ever you want to play it, this elite group of gamers is here for you.

Welcome to the Whyalla Gaming Society

I would like to welcome our newest Steam group members to the Whyalla Gaming Society (WGS).

Please remember that all WGS members have the ability to create events for games/events that they would like to see happen. Use the WGS group chat to act as an initial meeting place, then move on from there. So far this year we have had events for Supreme Commander and a couple for Star Conflict. Please do not over-write (edit) previous events, but rather always make new event posts so that we have a running history of what has gone on before.

I have also given members the abitility to invite others to WGS membership. Please be aware that WGS cater for Whyalla residents/ex-residents only. This does not preclude nonmembers from participating in events through normal Steam-based gaming invitations by members once gaming starts.

Due to the nature of this group, I ask that all members be respectful when dealing with each other.
