There is this clever source modification called Garry's Mod 12 Classic that brings 10, 11, and 12 into a sourcemod! Given it's a old version of 12 but it is better than nothing, and has working mp!

i think steam should make a DLC for gmod 12 with working multiplayer and connected to your steam account like they did with gmod 9 before
