Preserving the memory of the First World War, 1914-1918

The WW1 Historical Society: Honoring the men and women who served, fought, and died on both sides of the First World War.

We are a group of historians, history buffs, and gamers interested in the people, places, and events of the First World War. Our primary goal is to bring awareness in the Steam community about what is arguably the cruelest war in human history, with a casualty count that remains unresolved to this day.

No effort is made to glorify war, nor is any anti-war stance made. Rather, our goal is simply to discuss the First World War in an intelligent manner.

However, we also support any games or mods on Steam that are set in or have a connection to World War 1, so we will try to post game releases and server names if need be.

So, if you are a long-time researcher of, newly interested in, or just have a question or two on "The War to End All Wars," then welcome. And keep your head below the parapet, soldier!

WW1 was pretty mid guys ngl
And all the games about the great war are all the same
All boring shooters that vaguely take place during the prequel to WW2
