Intro (gathered from facts, documents and intense studying):

Lincoln was levying higher and higher taxes on southern exports we sent both overseas and in the U.S. He was finding anyway he could to squeeze more money from the south. He wasn't pulling in enough in taxes from the North. Lincoln did not want the slaves freed until abolitionists forced him to make the decision. Even then he did not want the slaves coming north. In fact he wanted to send them all to Central America. Lincoln was no fan of blacks. He was assassinated before he could carry out moving the slaves. Remember also that the north had plenty of slaves too. The American flag flew over a slave country before the war and many continued to hold slaves after. Grant bought slaves and did not release them until after the war was over for a good time. Whereas Lee inherited slaves but was against it. He freed his slaves at the beginning of the war. Plantations made up a very small percentage of the south-less than 10% of the population. Everyone went to war for the same reason whether you were dirt poor or wealthy. I find it hard to believe a huge majority of people who didn't own slaves would have gone to war to save slavery for such a small percentage of the population. It's amazing what you could find in the College of Charleston library in 1979. We didn't have political correctness nor did we have the Feds writing our history books or censoring our material. Lincoln has been painted as a saint in today's world, but he really wasn't. He was an elitist like the rest of them. You might be able to find speeches Lincoln made in debates when running for Congress where he endorses slavery.

Breaking of the first amendments:

Amendment 1 (Freedom of Speech / Opinion), Amendment 9 (Peoples Rights) & 10 (States Rights) was broken by Lincoln's administration forcing draft upon every US State both Border, Southern & Northern which led to a lot of Self-State Administrations leaving to join the newly formed Confederacy.

ex: Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas.

State Responses:

Governor Isham Harris of Tennessee stated in a telegram to Lincoln, "Tennessee will furnish not a single man for the purpose of coercion, but fifty thousand if necessary for the defense of our rights and those of our Southern brothers."

Governor Beriah Magoffin of Kentucky declared that they would not send volunteers to a Northern army intent on subjugating their Southern brethren.

Governor John Letcher of Virginia, whose state had been requested to furnish three regiments totalling 2,340 men and officers, had stated in the past his intent for his state to remain neutral. He replied to Lincoln that since the latter had "chosen to inaugurate civil war, he would be sent no troops from the Old Dominion."

Governor Henry Rector of Arkansas stated, "The people of this Commonwealth are freemen, not slaves, and will defend to the last extremity their honor, lives, and property, against Northern mendacity and usurpation."

Although some states supported the breaking of these amendments thinking secession from USA was a act of rebellion so these states offered twice as much then originally requested form lincolm to sqaush the southern states.

War Crimes:

The Union Army backed by the Lincoln Administration openly committed war crimes against the Confederacy although these crimes still go without any justice served, disbanding Habeas Corpus, burning of Atlanta and so on.

"Along with a declaring martial law, President Abraham Lincoln ordered the suspension of the constitutionally protected right to writs of habeas corpus in 1861, shortly after the start of the American Civil War. At the time, the suspension applied only in Maryland and parts of the Midwestern states.
In response to the arrest of Maryland secessionist John Merryman by Union troops, then Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Roger B Taney defied Lincoln's order and issued a writ of habeas corpus demanding that the U.S. Military bring Merryman before the Supreme Court. When Lincoln and the military refused to honor the writ, Chief Justice Taney in Ex-parte MERRYMAN declared Lincoln's suspension of habeas corpus unconstitutional. Lincoln and the military ignored"
