@General "OG" Grievous Oh I really dont need to know what people dislikes. I got better things to do. But a 20 times higher dislike reaction compared to Ahsoka, thats.... group-mentality. Since it got the views, since it got the up-votes, for a first trailer, its very likely it will get the viewership it needs. Its not ignored or fallen flat on deaf ears. So it got a chance. But I agree, this need the writings, the story, to be something. Its all new characters, outside Skywalker-Saga, new people involved. It has to stand on its own two feet, and thats never a sure thing. I have high hopes, since I like it.

@Wilfer88 not even close you need to start using that plugin that actually lets you see the dislike button again its actually really helpful in predicting whats gonna flop hard the ahsoka official trailer has over 9 million views but a much better like to dislike ratio 178k like to 27.9k dislikes

@General "OG" Grievous The Acolyte trailer has the same likes per views as Ahsoka trailers, so it triggers the same positive respons as a Dave Filoni product. It has absolutly no news-value that its popular to dislike Star Wars, since its been so for 7 strait years, since TLJ released.

@General "OG" Grievous Well yes overhype says it itself. But I always take ownership of my hype. The Acolyte is a niched product. Its not pretending to be a normal Star Wars story. And thats why my own Sith fire burns bright. I am core market for it, nerdy fans. Star Wars is superb thing for imagination, it always has. And this triggers mine, in a very good way.

@Wilfer88 All I'm saying we need to stop overhypeing Star Wars stuff because that's what tends to make a show good or bad for people, are peoples expectations for the show. So yes tone down the expectations.

@General "OG" Grievous Its early assumptions for something not released. Lots of people have made their minds already, lots of people make assumtions. Lots of people love or like High Republic, so they are not forced to tone down any expectations, if they dont want. The tv-show can be a hit, or miss, or anything between. People can, or can not, know what they want, what to expect, some can get very hyped, and be very right all along from the very start. Or they can make a mistake. Its alot to presume what other people wants or needs to be happy.
