Ive asked myself this a lot. Why do I main heavy? Is it the community? Is it how far in between they're? Tbh, its kind of all those things in one. But im still unsure of the prime reason why I main him.

My specialty of tracking is quite rare in this game so I’m here. I also like defensive abilities which come with the sandvich and slightly higher health pool. Low mobility is something that doesn’t irritate me as well, to an extent.

Mowing down people makes me moist

I personally began maining heavy after watching a bunch of Big Joey videos, i started playing as him a little bit more (cause when i started i instantly left him cause of the low speed and spies everywhere). So i started really enjoying the gameplay and seeing how much of a pillar i was for my team, i really love that. And i stayed as a heavy main cause of those intense moments when you're slaying the whole enemy team and turning them into bullet sponges, those are so gratifying...

I've got very large killstreaks with heavy, so yeah, i love playing as a fat ass

I main Heavy because being the tank for your team has always been something I'm proud of. I love mowing down people, its just so satisfying. Oh and the sandwich is just a sandwich, enough said.

The reason I main him, is because I can relate to him quite a bit. He loves big weapons, I do as well. He's Russian and I'm part Russian myself, he's very strong. That was the appeal for maining him for me.

because im bad at all of the other classes. i play too much of a coward. the low health pools of other classes make me worried whenever i take damage. i cant aim single fire weapons and im not good at close range combat with only 175 HP. but as heavy, i can take out all my anger on the other team, punishing those who get too close, and humiliating other from afar. plus heavy is an underplayed class, like the guardian angel that is the medic. in short, im bad and we already have 2 snipers, 3 spies, a sticky spammer, a pocket soldier with his medic girlfriend's pimped up medigun up his ass, an f2p scout, an engi turtling in the intel room and a braindead pyro.

Being the tank of tf2 can be fun as it makes a representation that your not just a easy target. Btw when’s that heavy update, it’s been a year or so sense pyros update.
