It's time again, Heavy and Sandvich Enjoyers!


He is usually underrated, underappreciated and underused since other classes can out damage and out move him easily sometimes on maps, but August 19th is a special day to all of us. It is the anniversary of Heavy's first update and where we got our amazing beloved Sandvich, Natascha and KGB. It is also the birthplace of infamous maps such as Badwater, Steel and Granary.

Misha is a fantastic character with many secrets and stories behind his name, and perhaps more of his tales will spread on that day same with gatherings and heavy squads.

Anybody is able to celebrate for the day, throw sandviches in the air, make bonfires with hoovies and even fight with your fellow comrades.

Putting #HeavyDay2022 in your name or desc to spread the cause is valued alot, but destroying crowds as Heavy with his miniguns is good enough for the folk around this town! Let's make this the biggest one yet! Lazyfinger returned and was apart of the last one haha.

In just being here for a year, It's been the most wonderful experience I've had with steam so far. Me and many others transformed THW from a semi-dead server into something brand new and refreshing for the whole community. I thank you all for that and let's continue that spree of killing with Mikhail.

We challenge Heavy Mains from all over to send in their best frags using the Natascha. Mostly hosted on discord too, but we have a discussion forum to put your frag videos there. (In any format, please best quality and not very long videos.) You can also send your frag videos in dm's of both me and wonderful Concorde.

Even though it'll be harder to grade them that way, we want all Heavies to have a chance at proving themselves here.

REQUIREMENTS

- Your artwork / animation must be at night. No exceptions.
- You must have a heavy / heavy warrior / heavy warrior staff in frame either in background or as main focus.
- Artwork can be in any time period, but 70’s and 80’s is preferred.
- Military style is allowed, but city life is the main focus of this competition.
-Your artwork must have a name to be qualified.


RULES OF THE ART TOURNAMENT.

- Your art piece can be in any stylized production (SFM, Gmod, 2D, 3D, RL, Animated, etc)
- Your artwork must only include characters in the TF2 universe to be qualified. That includes Modded characters from other TF games.
- You can only submit 3 artworks in #𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩-𝙛𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧
- Your comments may reflect how well artists do if they post multiple works, don’t piss them or me off by saying completely negative things.
- No high quality artwork can be submitted on the last day. *You have to follow the street taxi like everyone else, buddy.* :taxi:

Now fellas, get your switchblades out, get your neon lights, and get your blood-soaked jackets too! Me and the event planners will be judging this contest and seeing how it runs.

This initiative is to bring attention to Valve. They have backstabbed tf2 and it's time to strike. They cannot ignore this! This protest will not last one day, it will last one month, one year! Other companies and communities will look at Valve in disgust at how bad this game and community is getting treated... And that's when the magic happens.

We need a single last major update! And even if we don't get that, FIX THE DAMN GAME!
