The (Καρνίοι) Carni

The Carni (Καρνίοι) were a tribe of the Eastern Alps, settling in the mountains separating Noricum and Venetia. Because of the mountainous terrain of which they lived the Καρνίοι Carni were not known for their horsemen but made up for this with the tenacity of their warriors in melee combat.
