The colonies in North America are formally known as British America and the British West Indies

It started with Settlements from as early as 1540 (Colony of Roanoke) to the last one in Georgia in 1732.

In the end the thirteen colonies were: Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts Bay, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.Jul
