There has been a major battle in the Kazon Territories. The valley behind me is littered with craters as the TEA faction was battling for control with the SPW. SPW and TEA had both claimed the Kazon Territory and SPW today made it clear they intended to win. It is unsure at this time how many ships and ammunition was spent in the bombardment but the area is noticeably deeper.

Teas bunker withstood the bombardment for hours and they kept declaing victory and calling for SPWs surrender. But with no quarter asked or given SPW breached the base and destroyed the last of TEA's infrastructure. Now system refuges TEA is adrift with flash clones and the clothes on their backs.

A charity relief effort was set up for them but no one attended. In a final communication TEA surrendered the system to SPW. Right now I am attempting to get interviews with the members of TEA and SPW to get their perspectives.

Now to (sigh) Stacy Starburst and the VAC report

Stacy: Hellllooooooo Terracon. So like SHO changed their name to VAC I suspect because its easier to spell, but they declared war on KOL and attacked them yesterday. So Captain why the attack?

Captain: Well there was an incident a couple of days ago where we were scouting and we got attacked and rightfully so. A specific member of KOL became very hostile and was speaking very rudely about VAC's honor. So we declared war and decided to start our assault.

Stacy: So you attacked them today?

Captain: Well more specifically we attack the individual and sunk their ship leaving nothing but a hull in space. We usually practice restrained warfare but not this time.

Stacy: Restrained Warfare?

Captain: Yes see its like farming if you destroy everything leaving nothing well those people never come back and you have no one to fight. VAC typically avoids shooting CVs and Bases unless they enter combat with us then we try and disable or destroy guns. Sometimes there are critical hits that destroy cargo or mats but in general we don't. While we want that aggressive playtime we don't want to push people away.

Stacy: So why not this time. Our reports say you completely destroyed one ship while not attacking the other at all.

Captain: More than one faction had reported being angry with this individual and they were going to attack the KOL faction. We at VAC are always conducting patrols and recon of our neighbors. We knew his ship and the owners of the others so we took it on ourselves to attack while at war and use unrestrained warfare. Our hope was with a more surgical strike we could remove the person and not have the entire faction punished.

Stacy: Was it a clean fight?

Captain: Well we were at war we did declare it and also we waited until there were 3 in their faction and then we only attacked with 2 people. When we got close the person decided to leave and the ships were undefended. Loopys ship did respond and fired on us the other did not.

Stacy: That seems kinda crappy shooting at an unmanned CV.

Captain: Well it is actually but when I got within 3km he left and abandoned them. This was a tactic he used before and well we lost all respect for him. we fight like our enemies if they use underhanded tactics so will we. Given the insults we were never going to do anything but complete destruction but we had hoped that he would provide more sport in it.

Stacy: Could you not use your captainy powers to just make him go away?

Captain: Well yea but that's no fun. Besides in the PVP zone we can use a "social" justice. That's what the convention is for to allow for the group to deal with disruptive elements in a more natural way.

Stacy: So he can come back?

Captain: Sure nothing is preventing that.

Stacy: What about your war with KOL?

Captain: Its over. We did what we came to do.

Stacy: Well that's right out of the captains mouth. VAC declares peace with KOL and life goes on. Now to the Wibbildy Blobbity one for the space time continuum report.

Space seems fine aside from the normal subspace disturbances that plague all you mortals. Remember while some can help they have chores to do as well. Loss should be expected in your caporal existence. However fear not for you can always sheed your meat skins and feed me!

A wave of new bio creatures is expected this weekend but your mightily leaders have determined to NOT allow anyone in without a current citizens recommendation. However any noobz that face punishment this weekend that you recommend will also be faced by you. So keep your meat sack pets in line.

Rules: Must have an SV with no hacked stuff. only wusses hack ships and they are so full of wuss not even THUNDER CHUNK can help them.

You are out when you are dead or can no longer fight. So no guns? No Power? No Ammo? No Living? Your out.

Prizes:
1st place a full stack of rations
2nd place an epic weapon of your choice
3rd place 3 full stacks of refined ore. (Your choice)

Register your name and ships name on the event by commenting. Must register for each event and have 1 ship per event. So you cant use the exact same ship in both. Can print 2 versions of the same one but we are not waiting on repairs.

next sports event after the Battle Royale is the Terracon Hunger Games.

Rogue system deep in the middle of no where. 1 Starter planet. 4 hours to die. Only for the most hardy of the hardcore like those that can shotgun a THUNDER CHUNK upside down while doing something extreme.

You enter with only your starting gear. Last one standing wins. 1 Death for any reason and you are out. No Factions allowed Character reset required.

HVs and SVs will be down there BUT no fuel no ammo. You gotta fake it until you make it. Winner is the last one alive and after 4 hours everything is wiped. Set yourself up for success and prepare for combat.

You can go back to your safe and comfy homes once its all over. Any levels lost are your own deal and will not be refunded. its a brutal mission are you up to it. Respond to the event to sign up.
