The server has closed as nitrous-networks, the host and provider has shut down all their Gmod servers, not just mine, but they closed their gmod hosting service.

This is because they say over the last couple monthe's they have had a 200% increase in DDoS attacks, targetted at the Gmod servers.

They say, a kid only has to pay $10 to some jerk with the ddos power, and they can do up to $2000 damage. Nitrous networks said that the result of the ddos attacks has cost them in bandwidth over $2000 which they cant afford even with what we all pay them.

They said maybe in the future when they get a new data center they would re-open hosting for gmod but the prices would be higher for compensation of ddos attacks.

well, there are some real jerks out there.


Maybe in the winter or late autumn i will find a better host and fire the server back up.
