Price and discount displayed for list of followed games
Not sure if this idea falls completely under the purview of steam labs, but I think it might really help boost sales, if you could see the current prices (and discount percentage) of games displayed in your followed games list, similarly to the way it already shows in your wishlist.

For instance, I'm following about 100 games, and I only check up on them in the steam store every few months. If one happens to be on sale, I might buy it, but the odds of me hitting it at the right time are small. If I could tell sales and prices from a single glance at my followed games list, I would certainly hit more sales and probably buy more games.

You could even go a step further, and make it possible to opt-in to receive E-mail notifications when one of your followed games goes on sale.

I used to add games that I was somewhat interested in, to the followlist. Only add games that I really was interested in, to the wishlist. But ever since the introduction of customizable ranked wishlist, I tend to add all into that and just organize it so that it has least interesting ones at bottom of the list. And the good thing about stuff added to wishlist is, that you get them email notifications if something goes on sale.

That's pretty much how I use my followlist too, for games that are still in early access or development and for games that I don't feel good enough about to put on my wishlist, but I don't want to forget about.
You're right that the ranking function of the wishlist really helps, but I'd still rather use the followlist as a secondary wishlist. Firstly, because I've had my wishlist ranking randomly reshuffle itself, and secondly, because then I don't have to worry about anyone gifting me a game I'm not sure I really want.

I use my Follow list for the exact same reason.

Nice! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one :)
I really hope this idea gets picked up, since I don't think it would take much work to implement (they basically have the scripts already for the wishlist). But since it seems like such an obvious thing, they've probably already thought of it themselves and turned the idea down for some reason. Still, maybe if enough people request this feature...
