How to find the normal steam sales page/steamDB
Hello!

So, apparently steam didn't learn that this UI backfires a lot, either that or they have statistics otherwise. Regardless, if you are here you agree with me that it sucks.

There are two options: either browse the store until you find the normal sales UI, or use steamDB.

First for the steam UI, go to the main store page, and scroll down until you find a list with the New & trending, top sellers etc and click see more: "tab title", then again scroll down and click see more "x". Finally you'll be in the usual, and much more useful steam store UI. OR, use the direct link below:
https://gtm.you1.cn/storesteam/search/

OR, you can just go to steamdb.info/sales, and filter to your heart's content using the upper left UI, it's quite complete. Even more complete than steam's since it also helps filtering by game % of approval and if it's the best discount up to now/on par with it. Plus other neat and detailed information that simply isn't available for seeing on steam.
Login is not needed unless you want to see owned/wishlisted games, and since the login is handled by steam, it should be safe.

Enjoy

We do not have to scroll down the store page to find it. At the top of the Steam Store, next to the search bar is a magnifying glass. If you click on that magnifying glass while nothing is in the search bar, you get to the same page that you linked, the one with a simple list of games and filter choices on the right side.

While this is true now, I don't remember if it was like that during the sales I mentioned. However, if it works like you said for next sales with bonky UI your solution is better indeed.
