Same issue

Same experience here. I suspect it has something to do with the "gamerecording.pb" file suddenly showing as empty. I think that file keeps track of all the recordings for the client.

I can no longer view my clips in recording and screenshots. Gameplay footage still shows up if I have my recordings on but all my clips have disappeared. If I go to my storage settings it says that there is 2.5 gigs of clips on steam being taken up by my hard drive, but it doesn't show up when I want to view them.

Yeah agreed. U can get them back by going to desktop mode and opening steam, then going back to game mode.... still very annoying

what do you mean desktop mode and game mode, do you mean big picture mode?

if you know any solution that would be great i would want to get access to my clips so i can quickly export them before they glitch out again

The steam deck has two modes; steam deck client (resembles big picture mode on desktop) and desktop mode. The steam deck is technically a PC (comes with Linux preinstalled) and desktop mode is where you can view files and browse the internet, for examples, like on a normal PC.

My recordings are gone too. I can create a recording and view it in media, but when I switch to desktop mode and then back to steam deck client, they disappear from the media tab.

I found the .pb files in desktop mode, so my recordings are still there and are taking up space on my internal drive, but nothing shows on the steam deck media whatsoever.

I'm having the same issue on PC. 90GB of clips, not showing up in the viewer to do anything with. Any luck resolving on PC?

Same issue. Mine came back today, and disappeared again after an update and restart.

Mine are missing, too, for weeks now. I hope they fix this soon.
