True, it is no longer possible to explore screenshots saved on the PC, this beta is practically useless and there are other applications to record gameplay, in addition to the fact that it is not possible to share videos on Steam, but only locally.
The dev's must be really blind not to be able to see that an important function "Show in folder" has been removed in exchange for a useless function like game recorder.

+1 - Please bring back "SHOW ON DISK" option!

+1. I feel like the steam interface is getting worse over time. Much slower and with much less features to actually interact with your computer in a seamless way. This is one such example.

I tried to record a small gameplay video for test, but it is not possible to share it with friends or in the activity feeds, although there are sharing options.
It is no longer possible to search for screenshots locally on the PC, because I normally cut some screenshots before uploading.

Now searching for them locally after taking a shot is a problem.
It is no longer possible to share even the links of the uploaded screenshots, If I click share, nothing happens, same for the videos, and in order to share screenshots I have to open the screenshot entirely and copy the page link.
Go back to the normal version which is a thousand times better and use other video recorders. They practically broke Steam app
This beta is really full of problems and I wonder if Valve reads this forum.

They're probably not gonna add it back because they consider the addition of "Save a copy" and "Copy to Clipboard" to be good replacements. They are not. They're great additions, but terrible replacements.

I hope I'm wrong and they add it back.

Valve, bring back the Show In Folder button!!
The choice you are making is crazy, just think to outlets needing to use the screenshots while preparing relevant articles!
The new implementation of the screenshot is already a chore, it takes tens of seconds to have the screenshots appearing in the game page if you have hundreds of games with screenshots (before it was immediate), now this.... are you all crazy?

Just give us the option to use the old Screenshot-Manager, the new one is worse in EVERY WAY.

Except that why, why ANOTHER copy when I ALREADY have it? And some apps, like telegram, doesn't work with whatever steam tried copypasting.
And no, I will not blame telegram or whatever other app might not paste property, it all worked just fine dragging the actual file to it

It seems like with every software when it - or part of it- reaches as close to perfection / usability as possible, they're then ruined by the need to change for the sake of changing.

This is a huge oversight on their part!

This. Adding to the necessity to bring this back.

Why was it removed to start with?! I shouldn't have to make shortcut to every single games screenshot gallery just so I can get to the screens I take.

So please add back "Show on Disk"
And also "Copy from disk" buttons so I can straight copy from disk to where ever I want to drop said file.


Gallery system as a whole is still extremely clunky for a half-baked rework. Why make it worse? Who okayed this change?
