How can i refund a game if i want to buy a better edition of that game but i played more than 2 hours?
So me and my friend bought Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition but then found out Ultimate Edition gives you a lot of extra content. For me, it wasn't a problem because i only played 1.8 hours but my friend played 3.4 hours. Is there any way we could like chat with steam and tell them the issue? Because the extra content that the Ultimate edition gives you cannot be bought separately anymore. He tried to refund and tell them the issue but it did not work. Please help.

I don't think it is possible to refund after 2 hours player unless there is a specific circumstance. Ask your friend to try a refund and cite his reason as wanting to buy the ultimate edition and maybe Steam will understand and refund.

Make a manual ticket.

Find the purchase... https://gtm.you1.cn/helpsteam/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase

Choose "I still have a question..."

Explain the entire issue carefully.

And hope for the best.

Don't purchase Ultimate until your refund is approved though.
