Hey lads - just checking in to see how everyone is still going and if you're still around and/or have played the new Squad Inf overhaul and what your thoughts are on it...

Sounds bloody brilliant to me !! Count me in, you lads are a blast to play with!

BB, well, we thought it appropriate to gobble up all the good people we've been playing with through the course of the Closed Pre-Alpha.

At the moment, there's talk of just merging with RossyRaiders' group. They essentially have the same type people we have........people that know how to play the game, have a good time, leave the strict milism ♥♥♥♥ at the door.

Hey lads, Just got internet up after a month disconnected from the world.

Whats news?

I now own the domains to www.alwaystakingfire.com and www.squadleague.com (if people wanted to just merge into Rossy's group I'll probably go ahead and start trying to shape some sort of official league). :D

So what are their intetions beyond a steam group? (squadies.com/squaddies.com are both taken). I now own our subreddit and will own tomorrow the domain (in the event we go that route)

Me personally, I enjoy the community creation of all of it as much, if not more, than actually playing a game (and is actually an area that is easier for me to do considering playing games is harder with kiddos). With that group they probably already have their intentions/directions they want to take it.

If we were to get a proper design and site repping us it wouldn't be that hard to grow massively in the coming months/years. We'd just need to determine what sort of functionality we'd seek for a site and all that jazz. (forums, servers we run?, TS server?, group nights that we password our server, group battles, etc etc etc)

I'm an inclusive type person, so I def would want us to chart a direction together. So in that vein, these are my thoughts. I'd love to hear everyone chime in. :D

Would be easier taking everyone from here and just going over. They outnumber us there anyway :D

I'm totally down, I've already talked to Rossy about it, and he's down just want to get everyone in on the decisions over in the Squaddies group since theyre like 40 something strong.

I like the sound of it Doc! We'll need all the good people we can find. :D

Hopefully we can get some good design action going. I'm going to grab the domain tomorrow if people are down with the name.

Totally open and think its a great Idea! There are others too who wish to merge into one big community for all, sent you all invites to the one that we're looking to mass people into!
