Here at Southern Pacific, we're used to driving trains and their cargo through hurricane force winds, safetly. However, it has been quite a while since we last had to deal with snow and or ice. The current plan is to take it safe, and only drive essential cargo. However, if the going gets tough, and we begin to run low on supplies, we may have to make more often forages into the winter wonderland outside. Keep posted for weather, and hope that this doesn't hit us too hard, and we don't have a repeat of 2009.

Dear V A P E G O D,

Please accept this letter as notice of my resignation from the position of Conductor at Southern Pacific Railroad.

Although this has been a difficult decision to make, I have been offered an opportunity that at British Columbia Railway believe will help me reach my long-term career goals. I hope you will understand my reasons for moving on.

As per the terms of my employment contract, I will continue to work for the company for the next hour, completing my employment on 12/19/15. If there are any areas in particular you would like me to focus on during my notice period, please let me know.

I have enjoyed being a part of the team and am thankful for the opportunities you have given me during my time here. I owe a great deal to the company and wish you all the best in future endeavors..
