European ambition at the dawn of revolution

As the nations of europe look for new ways to enrich themselves in the east and in the Americas, a conflict brews deep inside the core of european society. The age of absolutism has ended and revolutionairy sentiment is growing all across. For how long can the monarchs keep controll? And will they find succes in the great game that is colonization? Will their neighbours respect their territorial integrity? Not much is certain. But what is certain is that conflict is looming. And it will not take long until the continent, and maybe the entire world is embroiled in total war!

London, 1756. Westminster abby

Today. in the year of our lord. 1756.
The Dutch Stadtholder, Willem V Frederick van Oranje-Nassau has taken his claim on the English Crown. as in the Glorious Revolution of 1688. And is now the ligitimate English monarch. as the previous monarch has been forced to renounce all claims on the Isles.
He has been corronated at 14:00 afther the siege that lasted only 26 days. and ended in an assault of the city centre. A notable action of difiance took place in a town nearby where the 95th Long-Rifles held off the Prussian-Dutch force for a considerable ammount of time.
