Problem with submitting an application
Hello. I have seen a few topics with the same problem but I would like to ask some detailed questions and make them more clear for me, if I may.

When I logged in the STS pass the test, I received the text but also a note appeared about high amount of applications.

So the questions I am worried about:

1) What happens to the timer? I was given two hours to submit my translation, but I cannot do that until the queue moves, so what should I do? Is it safe for me to log out and come back later? It is not going to be an automatic decline, if did not submit anything due to reasons that do not depend on me, is it?

2) When I tried to open the links on the STS page to get information for the case, such as FAQ and guides, instead of opening those the server redirected me to the first step page, offering me to select my language again. I hope it will not be considered as if I have submitted three applications that lead to being banned from the server, will it?

Thank you for replies, I am sorry if I posted it in the wrong section.

What language are you applying for? At times we've got increased volunteer activity and it might take a while to review and process all applications.

1: If you don't submit any translation when the time runs out, your application is expired and nothing happens. It will count only after it's reviewed (and we must receive it first).

2: No, you will not get banned for that. The FAQ is listed right under the main page of STS, scroll down or try the links below:

Thank you for your reply. I am applying for Russian. I am aware that there are many people working on it. Basically all I wanted to know if I would receive any penalties accidentally but since nothing like that is going to happen, it's great.

So do I understand it right that I can safely log out from the STS, without paying attention to the expiration timer and not having completed my application?
