Almost two years after the server closed due to lack of time and better alternatives that seemed exist at the time, the now SOBS.pro (yes I managed to lose the previous domain) xDre4m server is coming back up, thanks to the support of @Moto that is sponsoring the project. If you don’t care about the details, you can skip to the launch info at the bottom of this announcement.

It seems like no server is still true to what made surf fun and competitive in the first place and that most communities value money over that. Obviously, we like money too. It keeps the servers up and running, but we would rather have it go down, than sell out to keep it up without a reason. More on that later. Our idea is not to divide the community or hate a different play style, we just want something we can enjoy and be proud of.

We haven’t forgot, the West Coast Combat Surf server should also make a comeback, if everything goes according to plan, for thoses of you in that area or that prefer that play style.

There will be, every friday, map rotation on the main server.

Valve recently killed ads in CS:GO so it is no longer a way for us to keep the servers up, we have added some new VIP features that you can enjoy if you would like to support the server, but as always, there’s multiple ways to do so, and the same goes to get VIP. Contact a staff member for more details!
