The Romantic era was a truly exciting period of time, during which brave new philosophers broke away from the cold, stark realism of the past, and laid emphasis on the deeds of bold, heroic individuals. Names like Napoleon, Hegel and the Brothers Grimm pop out of the pages of history and stare us in the face, as if inciting us to bold and worthy deeds in emulation...
