First to preface, I'm very sorry its been over 2 years since an announcement has been posted. Risk of Rain hasn't received much in the way of updates aside from balancing patches, and the devs are pretty much finished with the game.

We've had an active community and I've made a lot of friends in the process. Many of you saw the link in the RoR subreddit and found your way here.

We are glad to have new members even though we arn't the most active group.

I'm going to start scheduling events throughout January and February to try to get eveyone back into the game and for people to make new friends.

That's all for right now, and I'll start doing weekly updates to keep up the group.

I am so sorry I havent been posting stuff for the group since April. With job-hunting and being a full time college student things got shuffled around.

The port-forwarding guide is finished and will be posted in the next few days thanks to /u/oksohi .

I am sechduling a community play-date for sometime next month.

Its been awhile since ive posted announcements.

(i suck sorry)

Our love of Risk Of Rain has brought us together. But as of late, I've been noticing not many of us (myself included) know how to set up and host or join multiplayer sessions.

If it were ok with you guys, I'm looking for a couple of tech-wizards to post an How To: guide.

We now have 135 members! I never thought this group would get this big.

So tell me, what are your favorite characters?
Should the developers release more characters in an udate as well as more levels?


I think my favorite 2 (of the ones Ive been able to unlock) are the Engineer, and the Bandit. I like the Acrid as well, but Im not that good with him.
