Hello, fellow RIT people! I'm writing to inform everyone that signups for the Watch the Skies Megagame are going on this week!

Watch the Skies is a large-scale role-playing game with each group of 3-5 taking control of one of a number of factions, including individual nations, the worldwide press, and the alien menace. It has been described (by the creators, no less) as X-COM: The LARP. The event will take place on Saturday, November 8th, from 1pm until 10pm, over in the Golisano building (Room 70-2400). Signup is free, and there will be free food.

However, due to the lackluster response thus far, the event is in danger of not happening. If there aren't enough signups by the end of this week, the entire event will be cancelled, which would be truly unfortunate for the folks at IGM who put a lot of effort into organizing it.
