Meh, obviously it makes sense from a corporate point-of-view, but that's the thing, all companies like EA and Activision care about is revenue. They don't have any concern for gamers, or the integrity of the creativity of the gaming industry

@Josh Why? It was bound to happen, as we come into an age marked by digital distribution, I would imagine EA did it because they realised that they could solely market their other games alongside its other 'higher-profile' games, without having to deal with other publishers titles sharing "shelf-space". So it sadly was going to happen fairly soon.

I just refuse to use Origin because I think EA are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for trying to usurp Steam

It has a DRM where you have to be connected to the internet the whole time, even in single player, personally i have origin, and had to live chat with one of them to fix a problem, but all he did was tell me to reinstall and i ended up fixing it myself cause i couldnt be biffed to reinstall the whole thing again. other than that origin is fine (not buying anything off it though, i have steam for that)

What level of DRM does it have? And whats so bad about Origin?

I was pretty excited for D3 but I'm not going to get it now. Too much DRM and stripping down. I still play D2 which seems way better.

Diablo? Yeah I'm keen as to get it, but its not on Steam :( hence not buying BF3 or TOR. Do you now if it requires anything like Origin? Because I refuse to use Origin or anything like that haha
