Yevgeny Nikolayevich Ponasenkov (Russian: Евгений Николаевич Понасенков; born March 13, 1982, Moscow, Russia) is a Russian self-proclaimed historian, political writer, journalist, theater director, television host, actor and singer. He was a member of the public organization Russian Academy of Sciences and Arts (fringe organization, liquidated in 2018; not to be confused with the Russian Academy of Sciences). He is the author of works on the Napoleonic Wars (especially book The first scientific history of the War of 1812). Ponasenkov is an organizer of cultural events.
