Vive User with Questions about Oculus Quest 2
I'm a Vive user, and ALL of my titles are from Steam (many are Oculus compatible, and I'm interested in getting Oculus exclusives, like Lone Echo).

I'm looking at getting an Oculus Quest 2, and I have a few questions. My Oculus experience is limited to an Oculus Go.

First, is will I be able to use my Steam titles with it (or will I have to purchase them again for that particular hardware?)

Second, how's the battery life?

Third, are there any additional game providers you're recommend? (Like Vive has one called Viveport - is there a service outside of Steam you use?)

And finally, any information that you think might be useful? Get the big memory or small? Useful accessories? Favorite experiences?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you will be able to play all your Steam titles on the Oculus Quest 1 or 2, as long as you have a cable to connect to the PC. You can buy the official cable from Meta or buy cheap alternatives on Amazon or Ebay.

The battery life depends on your setup. On average, I would say it's 4-5 hours if you're just messing around not doing anything intensive. However, if you're gaming on a serious title, you may only see 2 hours of battery life. You can add a battery pack to seriously extend the battery life though. If you're tethered, you can pretty much game for as long as you want (unless the battery is dying already).

I do recommend Viveport on the yearly subscription.

I believe there is only one model available now, the big memory one for $299 USD. There are no longer two models.

Thanks, that's good data! Much appreciated.
