The battery life depends on your setup. On average, I would say it's 4-5 hours if you're just messing around not doing anything intensive. However, if you're gaming on a serious title, you may only see 2 hours of battery life. You can add a battery pack to seriously extend the battery life though. If you're tethered, you can pretty much game for as long as you want (unless the battery is dying already).
I do recommend Viveport on the yearly subscription.
I believe there is only one model available now, the big memory one for $299 USD. There are no longer two models.
