What kind of accommodations? Pve seems to ok the way it is. Could you explain more why the seperation needs to happen and why only scorched earth. Was there something that was discussed that we missed?

Scorched Earth will be joined by additional servers in it's own cluster. Basically expanding both the PvP and the PvE in separate clusters.

So what you're saying is, the current Center+Island=PVP Cluster and SE+newCenter+newIsland=PVE Cluster?

Yes. Eventually will be running two 3 map clusters. One PvE one PvP. Each with an Island, Center and Scorched Earth map.

Meant to add that PvP will be turned on for The Center at that time as well.

Unless I decide to migrate The Center with Scorched Earth. Sort of depends on input from people.

Keep The Center and Scorched Earth AS IS (maybe add The Island). And thats your PVE cluster. Create two new servers merge it with The Island, and thats your PVP cluster.

Some of us worked real hard on The Center up until this point. Hate to have all those efforts get washed away. That is my suggestion but Im not the server god soo..

Honestly, I have to agree with Knology and Joe. But at the same time I understand where you guys are coming from. I could be wrong but you want to merge this server because it has your big base up in the center? That's completely understandable but as I said I could be wrong. Just remember you have plenty of other people who play on the server and may not like the idea yet not have the strength to speak up. 😊

Everyone who has spent time on the server has built and invested lots of time. That's coming from both those who spend more time on SE and TC (Scorched Earth, The Center) and those on TI and TC (The Island). I'm fully aware of that. That's exactly the reason I have been trying to get more people involved and value the feedback.
The intention here is to make a change. My motivations are not soley for my own reasons. That's why I posted the discussion. Just because I don't state a possibility doesn't mean I'm opposed to it. I don't get to hear the wider audience's input due to my time spent working both in my job and maintaining and running the servers.

Regarding TC, it seems likely that with the feedback I'm hearing right now, I will keep it together with SE. I'm not going to finalize that decision until December 1st. That way everyone has time and a chance to share their thoughts.

My goal here is to improve on what I imagine the experience on these servers to be. I don't intend to do so entirely without getting the feedback I have been from the community we have created here.

Lets have current center and scorched be pvp in their own cluster. And island pvp (so that pve people are left alone etc) in its own as you expandbyour server count. Thats my suggestiom at least

That all makes good sense to me. I had no leanings on where The Center went. Hence my reason for posting for feedback to see where our community stood on the subject. Will also update with any changes that may be made when the moves are made.

did he mean that we should have center the SE be PvE or PvP. i am totally not for it being PvP as its not PvP now and most havent built for PvP. i will lose everything if the center and SE are made perma PvP.
